Locke Trucking, Inc. has always been a family owned and operated business. The Lockes started in the trucking industry in 1981 when they owned and operated semi-trucks. In 1989 they bought their first dump truck and began to sell off the semi trucks over the next few years. We are currently in our 2nd generation of family members to own the business.
We haul and sell stone, sand, gravel, fill dirt and topsoil. Bobcat and conveyor services are also available. Our goal is to serve our commercial and residential customers, including custom home builders, ex-cavation and concrete companies, and homeowners with existing driveways or do-it-yourself home pro-jects to the best of our ability.

Dave runs the day to day operations of the dump trucks and is in charge of salt sales. Dave is a graduate of Center Grove High School. He also attended C9 Career Center for Diesel Mechanics. He has been working for Locke Trucking Since 1999 driving one of the conveyor trucks. In 2009 he started Locke De-Icing Solutions and in 2010 Dave took a more active role with the trucking company as he began running the dispatch and supervising the truck drivers. In 2015 he purchased the business from his parents. In his spare time he enjoys drag racing his car, boating and riding motorcycles.
Amy manages the day to day operations of the office. She is a 1998 Graduate of Whiteland Community High School and also attended C9 Career Center for Horticulture. After high school she continued her education at Vincennes University. She and David were married in 2000 and have 3 boys who are active in 4H, Scouts, basketball & marching band. They keep her very busy. Amy began working in the office for Locke Trucking in 2003. In her spare time she likes boating and spending time outside.
Richel has worked for Locke Trucking and De-Icing Solutions since 2016. She is a 1996 graduate of Whiteland Community High School and attended C9 Career Center for Nursing. She is married and has 2 girls that attend Franklin Community Schools. In her spare time, Richel enjoys gardening, camping, grilling out and having crawfish boils. She loves to sing and has been a part of singing/worship at Rocklane Christian Church since the 5th grade.
Dave has been driving a truck for Locke Trucking since 2015. He also helps with the salt operations in the winter season. Dave is a 1981 graduate from Southwestern High School in Shelby County. He spent 12 years in the US Army serving in the heavy artillery division. He is married with 2 boys and has 5 grandchildren. Dave enjoys fishing, riding his motorcycle and going to antique shops. Dave has recently been promoted to our full time dispatcher.
